Craft new strategies with powerful talents

Pokemon talents can determine the fate of a deck, and the Scarlet & Purple – Evolutions expansion in Paldea has plenty of them. Get off to a good start with Tapatoes-ex's Tap and Grasp talent, which allows you to discard your hand and draw six cards. Tapage et Prize is reminiscent of Dedenne-GX's Dedechange Ability or Nostenfer-V's Dark Edge Ability, but differs in two ways: you don't have to play the Pokémon from your hand to activate this Ability, but it can't be used only during your first turn. If you're looking to perform a quick Energy charge, Foretress-ex can flood your board with up to five base Energy. This comes at a cost: when you use her Explosive Energy talent, Foretress-ex is KO'd, so you forfeit two Prize cards. Bekipan and Forgelina can also give you a hand. The first will help you search or collect a Supporter card, the second will allow you to draw three cards during your turn.

Sit back and relax as you admire the special artwork of Paldea's Pokémon. Watch Poussacha as he curls up in a flowerpot amidst a brightly colored garden, or relax with Paldea's Axoloto dozing in the mud. Do not disturb Raichu during his nap, and be very careful of these Famignol when they eat, gather and sleep together in a tree.

Witness the power of Pokémon-ex

Evolve your game with the legendary Bane Pokémon, Chongjian and Yuyu, which make their debut in the Pokémon TCG as Pokémon-ex. Chongjian-ex's Envious Vine attack can really hurt when your opponent starts picking up Prize cards and giving you a comeback. Yuyu-ex puts the pressure on from the start with his Flaming Crash attack that deals a massive 100 damage and lets you choose up to three of your Benched Pokémon and attach a basic Energy to each one. Meanwhile, Dedenne-ex and Roigada-ex appear as Pokémon-ex Teracrystal with attacks that can propel you ahead of the game. Roigada-ex's Wise Headbutt deals 130 damage and lets you search your deck up to two cards, while Dedenne-ex's Tail-Swap instantly heals one of your Benched Pokémon by moving those damage counters directly to the opponent's Active Pokémon.
